This
tour goes into a desolate desert area of the Arizona Strip. Here we view
panels of ancient inscriptions made by various tribes of Indians 700 - 1000
years ago. Some tell stories, some seem to give directions, but all give

tour proceeds to the ruins of a sandstone fort complete with gun ports that
overlook what was a most important water source for early settlers. Battles
took place here that eventually evicted the Indians from their own lands
and opened up the land for settlement in the late 1800's.Southern Utah Atv It's off to a hardened stream bed where dinosaurs walked in soft mud that solidified into rock - leaving a trail of unique tracks that have lasted over the millenniums. We can follow the tracks of these lumbering leviathans and get an exciting glimpse of life in prehistoric time. |
